Description

The "Doss di Pez" Viewpoint is a natural marvel, modelled by the glaciers and today the location for a big shady play park with picnic tables and benches, and a splendid panoramic terrace used as a venue for numerous open air events.

The Doss di Pez, like many other small hills in Val di Non, was formed by the action of glaciers.

The Val di Non, in addition to being unusually wide, also runs distinctly north to south. This, together with the presence of numerous small hills and deep canyons, made it a highly desirable territory in ancient times and it was settled by the earliest humans.
