Belvedere Doss Di Pez

The "Doss di Pez" Viewpoint is a natural marvel, modelled by the glaciers and today the location for a big shady play park with picnic tables and benches, and a splendid panoramic terrace used as a venue for numerous open air events.

Bersaglio Play Park and Viewpoint

A place for rest and recreation with children's play area immersed in nature at the foot of the mountain of Cles. It was probably used as a target range in the second half of the last century (1950-1960).

Belvedere Croz De Le Bonele

One, two, three, ... take a deep breath. You are on the "Croz dele Bonele" with its breathtaking view over the valley and local capital. From here you can see the town of Cles, its historic suburbs, castle, Santa Giustina Lake, and Val di Non.

Maiano Viewpoint

A wooden bench overlooking the lake, a trickle of water from an old fountain in the little piazza, and a charming church nearby together make this a favourite and enchanting location for many local Cles people. 

"Del Guardia" Pathway

The "Guardia" pathway is a wonderful walk in the forest leading from the suburb of Dres to the Church of Santo Crocifisso in Faè.

Malga Clesera

Among the various mountain farms scattered over the higher ground of the Cles mountains there is one in a rather secluded location, basically behind Monte Peller looking from Cles.

The Adamello Brenta Natural Park

The Adamello Brenta Natural Park extends for 625 km2 and is the largest protected area in Trentino.

Flora, Fauna, and Geology of the Val di Non

Rock outcrops in the local Cles territory are almost exclusively sedimentary in origin, formed over hundreds of millions of years by slow deposition of clay, sand, and other materials on the beds of ancient seas that once covered this area.

Monte Peller, Vergondola, Boiara, and Peller Flowers

At first sight grass meadows might all seem the same but during the period of blossom they reveal their differences, mainly thanks to the flowers, which reveal how every meadow contains numerous different micro-habitats within itself.

The Palù di Tuenno Nature Reserve

The land between Cles and Tuenno is an alternation of hummocks and valleys formed through modelling by rivers and glaciers dating back around 10 to 15 thousand years ago.

The "Al Fae" Rock Face

The outcropping rock around Cles is almost exclusively sedimentary and formed over hundreds of millions of years through slow deposition of clay, sand, and other materials on the beds of ancient seas that once covered the area.

Il Maestoso Noce

Near Cles Hospital, beside a car park in Viale Degasperi, a huge tree has stood for many decades the dimensions of which almost appear “impudent” compared to the typical “shrubs” that make up the urban mosaic, which are largely confined to small plant beds and subjected to constant pruning solely for the convenience of people.
